Why commanders stay

Ringbound rewards planning. Good scouting, good logistics, and good timing all create advantages you can actually feel.

Persistent Strategy PvP

Build a position, read the map, and survive other commanders

🔭

Scout

Launch probes through a spiral galaxy of constellations and clusters. Discover anomalies, fissures, and hidden routes, then stabilize the best passages into real alliance anchors.

🏗

Build

Colonize rocky worlds, ice planets, gas giants, and asteroid belts. Specialize each colony with terrain-specific buildings. No two empires look alike.

Supply

Mine alloy, harvest shards, and refine H3. Feed your empire through convoys, trade pressure, and logistics chains that turn raw output into military leverage.

Fight

Command everything from militia drones and raiding skiffs to carriers and capital warships. Real-time subsystem combat makes timing, composition, and positioning matter.

Choose Your Opening

Ringbound supports very different early-game identities, and each one creates a different kind of pressure on the galaxy.

Industrial Backbone

Stack production, solve storage and energy, and become the player whose economy keeps growing while everyone else is still improvising.

Colony Management

Every colony is unique. Build terrain-specific structures on rocky worlds, ice planets, gas giants, and asteroid belts. No single optimal build path — your strategy shapes your empire.

  • Terrain-specific infrastructure across rocky worlds, ice planets, gas giants, and asteroid belts
  • Auto-build priorities and daily objectives
  • Colony defense panel: guard posts, turrets, deep core batteries, shields, minefields
  • Commander's briefing with strategic recommendations

Fleet Operations

Field scouts, raiders, freighters, carriers, skiffs, and capital warships. Battery-powered movement, route planning, and logistics choices create as much tension as the shooting.

  • Slingshot, warp, rift, and gate movement with real speed-and-risk tradeoffs
  • Captured hulks become staging bases for antimatter stockpiles and Skiff launches
  • Standing orders, trade convoys, salvage, and fleet templates
  • Alliance anchors turn stabilized fissures into repeatable raid routes

Real-Time Subsystem Combat

Per-ship shield layers, subsystem degradation, weapon tracking, and missile interception. Colony defenses use hit-based turrets with weapon types and phase-gated fire. Every battle tells a story.

  • V4 combat engine: shield layers, subsystem damage, disabled ships, salvage
  • Colony defense actor: guard posts (PD), turrets (energy), deep core batteries (anti-capital)
  • Real-time combat overlay with floating damage, kill feeds, and phase transitions
  • Espionage, intel dossiers, fleet sighting reports, and combat simulator

Galaxy & Diplomacy

Spiral galaxy with constellations, clusters, and sealed rings hiding the core. Signal identity, alliance politics, market pressure, and reconnaissance all shape who can expand safely.

  • Galaxy map with constellation drill-down, search, bookmarks, and frontier zones
  • Signal identity: 12-char hex transponder broadcasting your network
  • Alliances with bonus trees, wars, banks, and mutual defense pacts
  • Galactic market, price charts, convoy logistics, and intel pressure

A Living Galaxy

The galaxy is not empty. NPC factions expand, pirate hulks can be boarded and repurposed, Peacekeepers patrol the barriers, and wall breaches can open dangerous new approaches into the sealed rings.

  • Frontier Settlers and Mining Guild NPC colonies that grow over time
  • Pirate raids, boardable hulks, and loot with diminishing returns on repeated attacks
  • Peacekeeper warships guarding ring barriers with EMP overload
  • Wall breaches, first inner-ring contact, and local Vigil responses

Ring Progression

The long campaign opens in stages, from the frontier to the sealed core

🌿

The Frontier

Where every commander begins. A dangerous expanse of expansion, raiding, and fragile supply lines. Build your first colonies, form early alliances, and survive the frontier economy. Bulk resources originate here — and convoys begin the long journey inward.

The Settled Belt

The first true war zone. Alliances clash over antimatter-rich border systems near the ring barrier. Structured warfare, convoy escorts, and contested economies define this ring. Control the borders, control the future.

🛠

The Deep Core

Where logistics become capital fleets. Antimatter flows freely, Tier 3 technology reshapes warfare, and campaigns require coordination across rings. The Deep Core is where power blocs turn resources into decisive military strength.

🕳

The Abyss

The final ring before the Void. Rich, dangerous, and never fully secure. Dark matter, endgame technology, and prestige objectives await — but no empire here survives without supply chains reaching back through every ring beneath it.

The frontier is live now. Breaches, fissures, skiffs, and first-contact routes are the opening steps deeper into the rings.

Built for Strategists

No pay-to-win. No ads. Just strategy.

Browser Based

No download. Play from any modern browser on desktop or mobile with a UI built around long-form strategy instead of mobile-idle shortcuts.

Persistent World

Your empire keeps moving while you're offline, and real-time WebSocket alerts keep wars, raids, and sudden crises from feeling detached from the living map.

Deep Combat

Per-ship subsystem damage, shield layers, weapon tracking, carrier hangars, and phased colony defenses. Every fleet composition matters.

Active Playtest

The Breach Update is live: fissures can be stabilized into alliance anchors, captured hulks launch Skiffs, and ring walls can now rupture and change nearby space.

Strategic Depth

Multiple viable paths. Colony specialization, fleet doctrine, route control, logistics pressure, and alliance timing all create different ways to become dangerous.
